Judging Tips



Be at your booth at all times during the judging period from 10.30 am to 5.30 pm. Make sure that the Team Leader or the person who is going to present is available. Revisiting will not be entertained.
Be very conscious of the time. Request for time extension will not be entertained.

Check and confirm the entry details. Inform the Secretariat directly if there is any change. Changes after announcement of the results will not be entertained.

Focus on your invention. It is unwise to make unnecessary perceptions on the judge’s personality.

Determine and be clear of your invention’s uniqueness, especially if there are other similar products but of different variants.

Samples and souvenirs are not encouraged although at the courtesy of the participants.

Feedback from the participants after the judging are welcomed but will not have any effect on the results.

The judge's decision is final and no disputes or appeals will be entertained.

Presentation Format

All posters should be in A1 (594 mm x 841 mm) size portrait.
All participants MUST bring the PRINTED POSTER during set up day (please refer event Schedule).
A display board is provided to paste the poster for presentation.

All posters should be:

Dimensions: A1-sized, portrait (not landscape) (594 mm wide x 841 mm high).

You will be given poster number and poster session during REGISTRATION (please refer to event Schedule).

Booth Layout

Each booth space is approximately 3'x 6', consist of:
1 unit of Table ~ 1.6'x 3.4'.
1 unit Display Board ~ 3'x 6'.
All participants MUST bring the PRINTED POSTER during set up day (please refer event Schedule).Participants are allowed to bring any other provisions regard as necessary for the competition and should be placed within own booth area.
The organizers accepts no responsibility for any loss, theft, damage due to fire or other causes, or personal injury suffered during or after the exhibition.
The participant(s) further agree to release, acquit and covenant not to sue the organizer for all actions, causes of action, claims or damages, of whatever kind, including the negligence of the organizer, arising out of participation in this program.
